Brand New Mixer

Last Sunday, I have collected my belated birthday gift! It is non other than this *tada*

I am going to try it out this week if time allows (when it is under warranty at least if anything goes wrong, I can 1 to 1 exchange), I will try making cake this time round. Easy & Simple. (I hope) 

I am looking for the simplest cake recipe so I could success in the first trial. Do check out my update blog soon!! 

Easy Mini Cheesecake ( Cupcake)

The recipe originated from a Korean lady, Eugenie. After searching in her blog, I am inspired really. I am flattered by my tasters (aka genie pigs ), I have improved! That's a piece of good news for me, I have to give credits to the easy recipes which I have found.

I bake this on Wednesday night (27 Aug) after my dinner, I can't wait till weekend to bake when I found this easy recipe. It is getting exciting, as with the humble equipments I have and the mini cakes turn out great. I am thinking to invest better equipments having to say this, I will be expecting a new set of mixer from a friend who is getting one as my birthday gift!! I am blessed. Currently, I am using the handheld mixer which handled down by my mum who loves to bake in her younger days too. Just imagine the 'antique' but reliable handheld mixer can be. It looks similar to this, the one I am using already obsolete.

Picture below will be my new toy, and I won't be using hand strength as much compare to now. So excited.

And this friend requests a cheesecake for his birthday, I have agreed as a form of returning birthday gift. Though it is not my first time baking for a friend, seriously I have not bake a cake officially for a birthday.  Most of the time I bake muffins (because this is only "cake" what I know about baking), indeed this is a good time for me bake a cake or prepare a non-bake cheesecake.

From where do I start baking?

It's mid-week, how have you been doing?

Having to see many successful baking in the various baking group which I have joined, I felt motivated and encouraged yet on the other hand I do envy how they had done it so well. ( I have to admit I love taking short-cuts in the area of baking, this mean taking the easiest recipe and do it well.) 

I starts off baking butter muffins using convention air oven I won in the lucky draw in my company dinner and dance. And it looks somehow like this and it had been serving me well.

And life goes now until last year September on my birthday, my ET buddies bought me this.

So, this is much sophisticated comparing to former yet it is about learning how to 'befriend' with, it can be your best 'baking' buddy down the road. I must admit I am not good in baking during my college years, therefore I have to put in extra effort to do well.

OreO Theme Baking Weekend

This is my first post for sharing my trial and error baking journey, to kick-off this journey it would be 2 baking which I have done over the weekend. I read the recipe as well as watching YouTube demo more than twice to ensure I get it right. 

It had been a great experience this time round, as I have many failures of having the right texture right moisture whenever I bake muffins. And I am happy that I have get it right this time right, with the right recipe too. I am happy to share with others, do click the link below the picture for recipe. 

Oreo Muffins

This is my first time trying on cheesecake, non-bake one to be on the safer side. Found this Oreo cheesecake recipe on the same link, that explains why I name it as Oreo Themed baking though this is non-bake. Pardon me of the awful decoration as I am not good at it with the remaining cookies I have, but I will definitely improve on it. Orea Muffins
